Grant Westmorland, CEO of Pacific Maritime Group, has over 30 years of extensive maritime experience. He has successfully created a multi-faceted
waterfront business that serves clients both locally and nationwide with their diverse and complex maritime needs. Grant’s experience and comprehensive knowledge of marine logistics, construction, salvage operations, project management, tug and barge movements, sales and client satisfaction have created Pacific Maritime Group, and his dedication and oversight continue to drive the business creatively and soundly. Grant and his team work diligently to stay competitive and effective, doing so with ethics and integrity.
Steve is a former U.S. Navy Diver who went on to become a Department Head and Dockmaster at Campbell Shipyard until its closing in 1999.
In 2000, Steve joined his current business partner Grant Westmorland and has since been an integral part of growing the business. Steve still operates on his Master of Towing Vessel license and enjoys the variety of projects he is involved in. Steve especially appreciates working with our customers and the communities we live and work in. Steve is married to his high school sweetheart and they have one son who is pursuing an academic career when he is not working as a deckhand. Steve enjoys distance running and open water swimming to keep in shape.

Bob has been a part of our team since the inception of the company. With over 40 years in the marine industry, Bob has been exposed
to every aspect of maritime work. From Ship repair to Ocean transportation, from Harbor and Ocean tug service to heavy lift crane and construction work, Bob has done it all. Bob’s experience is invaluable to customer relations and will willingly share his knowledge in the development of your maritime project.

Walt Jellison, President and General Manager at Pacific Dredge and Construction, LLC., where he provides
leadership and direction for this rapidly growing company. He joined PDC in 2019, bringing more than forty years of marine construction and dredging experience to his role with the company. Growing up in San Diego, Walt has always enjoyed the water and the ability to make a career of working in the marine environment.
Regional Vice President
Over the years, Pat has been instrumental as our company has grown from a small tug and barge company to the robust marine services and
construction company that we are today. Along the way, Pat has served as Operations and General Manager. In his current role, Pat’s primary focus is providing our San Diego and San Francisco Bay Area customers with the highest level of service and integrity. Pat is also active in the maritime community outside of the office. He is the current president of the Propeller Club, Port of San Diego and is a member of the Bay Planning Coalition.
Business Development Coordinator
Robbie is our Business Development Coordinator for the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. He has 30 years of experience in the marine industry
that includes project management in marine construction, oil and gas sector, dredging, salvage, estimation and quality control. This experience has been gained by executing work around the globe, including work inside the Arctic Circle, tropical areas, the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific Region and many other areas.
Corey Umstead is the Operations Manager at Pacific Maritime Group, where he leads a team of dispatchers, captains, engineers and deckhands who
provide quality service for in-harbor tug and barge support, marine construction projects, harbor dredging, crew boat services and ocean towing. Before joining PMG, Corey worked a decade for some of the leading firms in the oil and gas sector of the maritime industry, helping to discover, drill and produce new sources of hydrocarbons. He came ashore to work in the environmental services industry, supervising the collection services for the City of Chula Vista. Corey helps to plan and manage operations and personnel all throughout the West Coast of America. His team is ready to provide wide ranging support for our clients with the in-house capability and expertise to make customer’s dreams a reality. Branch Manager, Long Beach
Travis Stephens, Branch Manager at Long Beach, has over 30 years of experience in Marine Operations. He has sailed on his license in Alaska,
the Pacific Northwest, the West Coast, Caribbean, San Francisco Bay and the great rivers of the West--Columbia, Snake, Stikine, Fraser, and the Yukon. Areas of experience include commercial fishing, passenger operations, project management, dredging, marine construction, salvage and towing. A graduate of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, this farmer's son enjoys time cooking, gardening, and reading with his family.
Nick Gibson is the Long Beach Port Captain at Pacific Maritime Group where Nick oversees maintenance, operations and upkeep of the
Long Beach facility, vessels and crew. Nick has worked in the maritime industry for 20 years and has been with Pacific Maritime Group since 2015. Nick helps maintain work readiness and works with customers to complete all jobs to the highest standards possible. Nick is from San Diego and his hobbies are fishing, shooting and working.
Tom has been working 40+ years in the Maritime Industry starting in the charter fishing business, passenger vessel fleet maintenance
before coming to Pacific tugboat Service. As Port Captain, he heads up vessel engineering, vessel regulatory compliance and repairs.
Office Manager/ Human Resource Manager
Kimberly is Office Manager and Human Resource Manager at Pacific Maritime Group LLC and Pacific Dredge &
Construction LLC. where she coordinates schedules, organizes office functions, works daily with accounts payable, accounts receivable, oversees daily operations of the office and does the recruiting, hiring and onboarding of all new employees. Kimberly possess strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to simultaneously manage various projects and schedules while putting employees and customers first. Kimberly is a mother of 2, Michael (25) and Lauren (17) from Coronado with some southern roots. I enjoy walking on the beach, traveling and working with a great team at Pacific Maritime Group and Pacific Dredge & Construction!
Luz Gallardo is the Accounting Manager at Pacific Maritime Group and Pacific Dredge and Construction LLC, where Luz manages the accounting team,
produces monthly financial statements and creates processes to improve accounting department efficiency. Luz is a mother of a 4-legged baby Chihuahua named Hibiki which means loud noise or echo in Japanese. Luz enjoys walking Hibi, traveling and running along the beach with her boyfriend.
Payroll and Accounting Administrator
Krystiana Ruddle is a Payroll and Accounting Administrator at Pacific Maritime Group and Pacific Dredge & Construction. She has been with
the company since March 2018, working closely with HR, Accounting and Government Relations while assisting with Military invoicing and Contract review. She is a UC San Diego graduate, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, reading and sewing.
Robert is enjoying his 30h year in purchasing on the waterfront. As a sourcing and logistics veteran Robert
keeps the fleet in good supply. He is quick to remind you that “you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate.” When not at work he can be found on his sailing ketch the “Kelly Lynn”.
Robyn Westmorland works as an Administrative Assistant in the A/P and Human Resources Departments for Pacific Maritime Group.
Her experience in the yacht charter industry as well as property management give her the knowledge and skills to support the departments in various needed capacities. She received her B.S. from Carroll University. Robyn enjoys sharing her love for New Orleans, cooking, and the Green Bay Packers.
Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Bill Harju is our Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. He strives to
constantly improve the safety culture within the Pacific Maritime Group of companies by conducting regular safety meetings, observations and developing supportive relations with all of our employees.
