Pacific Tugboat Service has decades of Landing Craft experience, with landings on beaches and inaccessible locations numbering in the thousands. We are a CPUC carrier for cargo of all kinds to and from Santa Catalina Island. Our Landing Craft have been used for diving operations, marine and ocean sciences, film production, marine construction, oil spill response, SLOPS removal, marine salvage and wreck removal, heavy cargo transport from ships at inner anchorage to shore and much more. We make frequent trips to supply the Camps at Two Harbors, Catalina with critical supplies and return with waste and equipment as-needed.
Owning and operating a landing craft, and safely landing on beaches is a unique and specialized skill within the industry. Every landing is different, with changing tides, currents, winds and conditions. Our crews and equipment are well prepared, trained and equipped to assess and execute landings safely, leaving beaches well cared for and the environment protected while delivering the goods intact in a cost-effective manner.
