A vessel is by some definitions a craft for travelling on water. Our Fleet is comprised of a number of vessels that travel on water, but each is unique in its design and purpose. A Landing Craft is far different than a Crew Boat for example. An Ocean Towing Vessel is far different than a Truckable Tug. What all of our Fleet has in common is not what they are built for, but how they are built. Our design/build philosophy is that the design follows the purpose, but quality enhances the purpose.
What does this mean in practical terms? In our case, it means that the people who actually construct or re-build our vessels directly affect the outcome of the capability of the vessel through their talents, expertise and commitment to the highest standards.
Today we will meet Isaiah and Jordan. Isaiah is our Lead Carpenter and Jordan is a Carpenter’s Assistant. In the video, you will learn about how these two are much more than co-workers. You will hear from them in their own words and see some of their craftsmanship. We think by learning more about the people who make our vessels unique and special, you will understand more about the maritime industry and the many skilled and dedicated people it takes to make a company successful.
Please click the link to meet Isaiah and Jordan, you are going to like them we promise! We will produce more videos highlighting the various trades and people that make up our Team. We think it is a lot of fun making these videos and we hope you enjoy them too!
