D.M. Tapper is our largest crew boat, capable of extended voyages, large payloads and many types of missions.
David M. Tapper, Special Operator (SEAL), Petty Officer First Class;
Was Killed in Action, August 20, 2003 in Afghanistan. Dave had previously taken part in the Nationally watched mission to rescue Jessica Lynch in Iraq and after a short leave period deployed to a lawless province near the Afghan border where he was killed in an ambush.
Dave was remembered as the very best of the SEALs; a great operator, proud father and husband he was and will always remain the type of man America looks to as our role model.
Pacific Tugboat Service is proud to name our fastest member of our Crew boat fleet after Special Operator Dave M. Tapper.
